An organization in Ghana is working with training special populations with technology and they brought all new computers to our school. Since the number of machines will not fit in our existing space, I am working on building a new one to accommodate the program.
I had some time at the beginning of this term to start getting things underway for our proposed ICT center. The steps started with a sketch of the building. The following images are what I was able to come up with:

We also secured a detailed budget for the project (although I think the totals are absurdly high).
A representative from the organization came the other day to set up the current lab. He even brought a new projector!!
The way things stand now, we are ready to submit our proposal. All of the work for the project will be completed by school employees so we hope to be able and keep the cost down.
(August 6) We at the school have decided to hold off on this project for the time being. With the acquisition of the budget, we realized the project would most likely not reach completion during my service. And since there is already one other unfinished building, we have decided to pursue that first. But this may still be a possibility in the future.
